Super late to the game on this after a week of travel, but excited to hear about Jump. Her highlight reel was really promising, making shots from outside, inside, in transition, and in traffic. She also had a couple pretty assists from long range. It's always hard to tell with these "tapes" because who knows if that's how she is 20% of the time or 75% of the time, but I'm encouraged. I also don't think the difference between PN and ESPNW HoopGurlz says much at all - ESPN indicates she is top 100 but they are only identifying top 60 for now, which could be entirely consistent with her #63 PN ranking. Also, the ESPN evaluation from Olson is dated July 2014, yes, almost 4 years ago. So who knows if their ranking is based on that assessment, or what. I generally find there's a lot of shuffling until they settle on their Top 100 about a year ahead of the formal signing period. Indeed, I remember Wilson was at one point as high as, I think, #6 in the nation, but I think where she ultimately landed, at #42, was a more accurate position. On the men's team, Robbie Cartwright was at one point (i.e., when he committed) solidly in the Top 60, and he didn't even end up being ranked in the end. I would say that has panned out in terms of his performance on the team. I really only trust the final rankings, and even that, as BobK has noted, is subject to politics, etc.
Now, we just really need some height in our remaining three recruits. I'm hopeful that ESPNW listed Stanford as Amihere's top considering - that list is ordinarily in alphabetical order, so the fact that it's not here makes me hope ESPN knows something about her order of priority. We were previously in the running for Ramani Parker, but she committed a few weeks ago to Louisville. She's only ranked 58th, so that's not a brobdingnagian loss, but I haven't heard too much else about other plausible top bigs.
