Wow, first home loss ever in the tourney for Tennessee. They looked like a different team than the one we faced; I came away so impressed with Nared when we played them, but this time she really didn't seem to be bringing much to the table. I hate to say it, but Warlick is no Pat. Tennessee didn't really seem to adapt and didn't press OSU much until the last couple of minutes. I continue to think a strong press defense is the way to beat OSU, because they get flustered pretty easily and tend to throw the ball away. Tough final game for Nared and Russell; for all their promise when they came to Tennessee, they never reached the final four.

Wow, that is amazing--those two go to Tennessee and never reach the final four?  I had not been keeping track, but zounds.  I really like Warlick as an opposing coach--she seems to have a good relationship with Tara and she keeps our series going, always speaks respectfully of us.

I remember hoping to get Nared here at Stanford.  Didn't she know someone on our team?  Maybe it was McCall?  But the Oregonian followed Mercedes to Tennessee.
