Maybe it's false comfort just for myself, but if you are a top recruit, how much does a team winning a national title sway you? If ND had lost on a buzzer beater to Mississippi State, it's not like someone would say, "oh, they lost the title game on a miracle shot, guess I should go somewhere else." It's obviously something Muffet can promote and brag about, but that recruit had no role in winning that title. Am I wrong?
