Unfortunately he looked overmatched at the plate the last couple weeks of spring. He lost almost all of last year which hurt him at the plate. He’s obviously a terrific defender.


I think the Giants are smart to let him get as many AAA at bats as possible. They don’t have a hell of a lot down there so they truly need him to be ready when he comes up. My guess is around June 1.

After watching McCutcheon and Blanco dancing under a fly ball, my vote is for Dugger.  His bat would certainly not be any worse than what we have seen.
