I'm still cautiously optimistic. The Giants are 7-10 despite hitting very poorly as a team. Cutch, Longoria, Pence, and Crawford are all likely to improve from the plate just from regression to the mean. The bullpen is playing pretty well and Cueto and Stratton have been great.  If they can keep it up the Giants will have a good rotation once Bumgarner and Smarzdija return.  They just need to find a way to play near .500 ball until then.
