I wonder if Meeks now wishes he had stayed in school.

Though I think he feels insulted that he was not drafted, Meeks probably now likes the option of signing with whatever team he wants as an UDFA, which he certainly will. He won't make much on his first contract, but I am sure that Meeks believes in himself enough that he thinks he'll make his way to that lucrative second contract. Now, if he indeed has the talent to make it as an NFLer, second contract or no, remains to be seen. I am sure he's been knocked for being on the slower side, and not having a great junior season. In addition, coaches and GMs often look at their draft picks and returners a lot more closely than UDFAs when determining roster spots and depth chart. My gut tells me he'll make a team, but he may be a special teams player unless and until he gets a shot in the field. it will take the right team and coach, and now he has the option of choosing that, with tons of input, too, given his family and college coaches. We'll see!
