I disagree Meeks should have stayed for his Senior season. If he isn't a good enough athlete to be drafted after essentially 3 years as a starter, he certainly isn't going to be after a 4th year. If he plays another year, he risks injury that could keep him from even being a UFA next season. I don't personally think he would be drafted any higher in 2019 than 2018, so why not find out if you really can compete for a job in the NFL when you are at the peak of your athletic ability?

The only possible thing Meeks could have done to enhance his NFL draft status in 2019 IMO, would be to play a year as the starting Free Safety for Stanford in 2018 and author a great highlight reel in the process.
