Meeks should have stayed in school.

+1.  I thought Meeks had the ability of a mid-range prospect.  He id some very good things this past year (career high in tackles, by a margin), but I'll bet a good year with INTs and passes defended would have made him a more attractive prospect.

According to ESPN, he was the 24th best safety.  Three lesser lights were selected in front of Meeks, including the Niners' sixth round pick of Marcell Harris, the 45th best safety.  There were six safeties with better numbers ahead of Meeks that were also not selected.
