Mize is one of the two players who holds the record, with six; one of his three-homer games was in 1947 when he played with the NY Giants. but he is tied for the record; the other player has no Giants connection that I know of (aside from having played against the SF Giants).
A couple more trivia questions:
18 players have hit four home runs in a game, but only one Giant. Who?
Three Giants have pitched an immaculate inning (3 strike-outs on nine pitches). Who were they?
