Random (and potentially out there) thought: if we have a fluid offense with a lot inside-outside shotmaking potential, do we need a traditional big to play the 5 and hang out under the basket? I could see a universe where we have Williams and then either Sniezek or Brown at the perimeter able either to shoot treys or cut inside, Jerome at the high post able to take jumpers, distribute, or provide screens, Smith at the corner/wing ready to make a trey or take the ball inside to the basket, and Carrington in the lane/short corner ready for rebounds or passes inside for layups. Carrington is great around the basket and a rebounding machine, that kind of positioning would enhance the Princeton offense's ability to move the ball around quickly and find mismatches, and it would also allow Smith to move from the wing to the basket either when the shot comes from outside (to get the rebound if it doesn't fall) or when she has the ball in hand and drives to the basket rather than taking the trey.
I guess I just don't think we need a low post that sits inside the box, given where I feel like our offense is going to come from and the nature of the Princeton. Even Smith doesn't really prefer the back-to-the-basket type of moves, so having someone stationed right in the paint just doesn't seem as useful.
