for what it's worth, there's been a lot of action on Notre Dame since the opening line came out.  the Irish are now favored by 5-and-a-half.

This is an extremely dangerous game for gamblers.  You have Book coming off a big game against a lousy Wake team, facing the best defense he has played so far. You have a KJ Costello who had a brilliant road performance in arguably a tougher place to play than South Bend.  But then you have the potential for Stanford having a let-down after such a big win in a non-conference road game.  Of course, the flip to this is Stanford could be super confident and feel they are a team of playoff destiny if they knock off ND.

I wouldn't bet this game if my life depended on it.

One additional FYI, if these are ACC refs... they have been garbage this year.  I think it will be p12, but ACC ones have been terrible.  So many blown calls, on both sides against ball state/vandy.  if you watch close, it won't just be ones helping ND, they are blowing calls all over the place.
