i watched the Michigan Notre Dame game. Impressions:
1. Wimbush won the game. (Yes, he had help.) His mobility, elusiveness, and the occasional good throw made the difference.
2. Michigan's DL won that battle, but ND's OL is solid.
3. Notre Dame's DL must be reckoned with. Kelly and Tilley looked good. (You have a backup DE (right sider), however, who looked comically bad.)
3. ND's apparent, relative lack of play making skill players, other than Wimbush, surprised me.
4. Patterson was perhaps so-so, and depended on his tight ends, who were fine but certainly not yards-after-catch guys.
5. I'd prefer to face a QB whose not as mobile and elusive as Wimbush.
We've played well at South Bend in recent years. Notre Dame has the better DL and Ol, Stanford the better TEs, WRs, QB, RB, and defensive backs.
