The second half of Stanford - Oregon is a better representation of the Stanford team, namely because that included the non-FUBAR OL configuration on Stanford's side.

Also, it's been a trend for a while, Stanford's defense tends to play better after the first half.  They routinely give up big plays in first halves for some reason, and not so much in the second.  

Of course, this means you're getting two different Stanford teams all the time, and both count.  So might as well watch the hole game :)
