A good game by everyone. But I was most impressed by the two Hulls. There were some moments in the first half where our offense seemed stagnant and we reverted to passing the ball around the perimeter or trying to force something into Alanna. In those moments the ball seems to move slowly and we got predictable and easy to defend. What I liked about the Hulls was their ability to penetrate and make great things happen. Lexie had some great drives and some even better passes that lead to easy layups. And Lacie hit a pretty mid-range jumper and had some beautiful passes herself. Both Hulls seem like great fits with how our new offense operates. I know this was just one game against an overmatched opponent but I think both Hulls will see a lot of playing time this year.
