Actually I thought UCLA discovered how to defend JJ just before the half. Keep his arms pinned every play and draw the PI. The clock keeps moving down and the field shortens every play. Sooner or later you're down to 5 seconds left and Shaw can no longer risk the clock expiring, and we have to settle for 3.
But they don't have time in OT. So it goes on forever until the eventual heat death of the universe.
