Costello leads the conference in PER, is second in the conference behind Browning in YPA and, second in completion percentage, touchdowns, and YPG behind Minshew.  His yards/game and PER have improved every month of the season.

Although the most likely outcome is that he will declare for the draft next season, he has started to appear on some 2019 draft boards and there is starting to be a good chance that he could get drafted if he chose to declare this year.
