Except MBB fans think the one-and-done model is monumentally stupid (see Duke this year - DUKE! One of the best schools in the country!) and there are many rumblings that it might be going away soon. Plus, injuries in basketball are much much rarer than in football, and only 96 teams play in the postseason out of 351 (27%, vs. over 50% for football); the postseason tournament format means no game is meaningless.
