It's depressing to set the bar so low, but it could be worse.

Fixed it for you. I don't think hoping for a 6-3 finish to the season is a low bar abstractly, it's just a low bar given how terrible the conference is this season. We have upcoming games against former powerhouses like Arizona, UCLA, and Oregon, and yet the average Kenpom ranking for our remaining opponents is 105th, and not one of those teams is in the top 25, including conference-undefeated Washington.
