My take on the seeding/RPI disparity is the opposite of yours: rather than the RPI showing that the seeding is inaccurate, I think the seeding confirms (for the umpteenth time) that the RPI is inaccurate. Kudos to the committee for giving the RPI the weight it deserves. RPI, R.I.P!
