By the way, the same thing happened to Richard Sherman at the WR position. He got hurt and then as he started to come back, Chris Owusu beat him out on the depth chart. So he and Baldwin shared exactly the same kind of bad blood with Harbaugh. They thought he only cared about winning and didn’t have their back. The level of competitiveness at the time was probably insane. Shaw seems to place greater emphasis on continuity.
On another note, Baldwin is a fantastic writer in addition to being a pretty good receiver.
