Ya, Andres Fox, Casey Toohill, and Gabe Reid are kind of the keys to the season, IMO. If those guys can generate a consistent outside rush, the defense might be good enough against the pass to contend. 

For those unaware, Stanford's Rush Defense was actually sneaky better than you think in 2018. They finished #6 in the Pac-12, with 3.99 YPC allowed.  Think the experienced DL can help continue the trend.

So if that pass rush does improve, the Defense could maybe be good?
