2010: 55 attempts, 200 yards, 3.6 yards/att., 0 TD
2011: 25 attempts, 103 yards, 4.1 yards/att., 1 TD
Zumwalt has played more than Jones. He got regular playing time as a freshman, finishing 8th on the team in tackles. This year as a sophomore, Zumwalt was 3rd on the team in tackles. His stats:
2010: 32 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 3 sacks
2011: 60 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 0 sacks
The Stats on Zumwalt are actually better than I thought, but I expected after his promising freshman year that he would really emerge as a force on defense, along the lines of Chase Thomas if he played on the outside, or a run-stuffer on the inside if he ended up there. His lack of sacks and failure to improve substantially on his TFL numbers (he did not start from game one in his freshman year, but started moving into the lineup about mid-season) are the surprising thing to me. Thanks for grabbing the stats, Terry
