At some point Shaw’s desire for location stability for his children’s education will become less critical. The only way to know if that time is this season is to ask.
The idea that some in the Stanford community are unhappy with 3 conference titles and 4 division titles in 9 seasons may boost the appeal of the NFL too.
When Shaw started as head coach he has little grade school kids and said he wanted to stay until they were older. Fast forward 9 years and I can see why NFL owners would want to see if they are now old enough.
Lots of good colleges in the DC Area.
