This is a good point.  Stanford football fans are not exactly in surfeit.  Following the Cal game, many (of the few) fans voiced their displeasure on the Stanford Football Facebook page.  One die-hard Shaw supporter jumped on the thread and stated that a season like 2019 would prove effective in getting rid of the so-called "bandwagon fans".  I see.  And that leaves how many to fill the stadium?

I've disagreed with many on here who have been very critical of Shaw.  But they are anything but "bandwagon" fans.  Indeed, I think some of the most longstanding and hardcore fans are the most vocal in their critiques.  After all, if you aren't going to jump off the bandwaggon if the team stinks, then you are going to fight like hell for the team to not stink.

Separate from that, yes, we need as many fans as we can get to fill up the stadium, "bandwaggon" or not.
