I think it's important to note which transfers are "sky is falling" transfers (Swann and Williams) and "yeah, makes sense" transfers (everyone else).

This is in the latter category. 3rd-string TE behind two younger players. Wonder if this indicates Park might be coming back.

I agree that this is one of those "makes sense" transfers.  He probably wasn't going to fulfill his dreams at Stanford, so he is looking for greener pastures.  That said, could he have been better?  Did Stanford recruit the wrong guy or did he simply not develop?  Back in 2017, he had a good catch in his collegiate debut against Rice and a few more that season.  But he never lived up to his size and billing.  What went wrong?  Coby Fleener was also a 3-star recruit and became a legendary member of Tight-End U.
