Although I'm REALLY hoping Fisk moves to DE if Park comes back. We can use Jay Symonds as a depth TE/H-back. He has soft hands and some blocking chops.

Fisk is a devastating blocker and this past season showed he has good hands. Not sure if he can get open downfield though.

I'm also skeptical of switching from TE to DE in your final season. Didn't we try that recently with a couple of players? IIRC it didn't work out very well.

With the apparent lack of depth in next year's roster at several positions, I'm not a fan of moving people to different (new) positions.

Eric Cotton switched a couple years ago and was fine. Not great, but fine. And FWIW Fisk still has 2 years of eligibility left.

Not that I disagree with your premise - moving people around generally isn't the best idea, especially older players.
