I think it's important to note which transfers are "sky is falling" transfers (Swann and Williams) and "yeah, makes sense" transfers (everyone else).

This is in the latter category. 3rd-string TE behind two younger players. Wonder if this indicates Park might be coming back.

Here was my thought in the other thread (titled “recruiting seniors”)

The wishful thinking/glass half-full interpretation is that this is done with knowledge of Parkinson’s impending decision about the NFL. The realistic interpretation is that the two are unlinked, because the timeline for entering the portal is long before the timeline for going pro, and I doubt Parkinson is going to make any sort of decision before he gets an evaluation and feedback.
