Just heard about KJ, too. Looking forward to facts, enlightenment, unsubstantiated speculation - something! The Merc's story on Stanford and the transfer portal a few days seemed be "don't panic, but be a bit concerned." This, if true, moves it up a notch. Or two.  Do I really want our offense to stand solely on David Mills's legs? (Or Jack West's, though I'm sure he's better than his first start.)

Also Tanner McKee.

Not too long ago I read an article about McKee that mentioned that he was fighting hard to keep from losing weight on his mission in Brazil.  If that's truly the case, and, more importantly, if he doesn't come back until the fall, I would think that the chances of him contributing significantly his first year are very slim.

McKee is back from his mission in May. 2-3 months is enough time to get back into playing shape before camp, provided that by then Stanford has replaced its current S&C staff with competent people.
