My recollection is that Nadia was injured in the USC game. That was the game when a husky USC post player kept intentionally undercutting her. It was the game that Nadia got knocked down a few times and didn’t get up after the last jolt to the knees.
It has been fun watching Nadia play so effectively this season though, and especially, seeing her enjoy the game so much!
On another front, Maya has not been court-side for the last two games. She seemed bummed sitting on the bench early in the season, and who wouldn’t be!. It would be a shame if she didn’t play this year.
