Most importantly, when George Kittle is on the field, the Niners average 4.9 YPA on outside runs.  When he is off, they average 3.0. This is mind-blowing dominance you get on every outside run. He is basically an edge killer. Statistically, the Niners never need to pass with Kittle on the field because three straight runs is a first down. This is what most people just aren't going to appreciate when assessing the Niners in the upcoming Super Bowl.

Statistically, this is wrong, because it assumes that the mean is exact and has no variance.  Once you add a standard deviation greater than zero to that statistic you realize that a given outside run may gain more than 4.9 yards or less than 4.9 yards, and that three straight outside runs could gain less than 10 yards when added together.
