Bad rap on the SFPD. Some are leaving because so many perps that are arrested go right back out the turnstiles. Tons of money in Cow Hollow, not so much in the Sunset and Taraval Station is overwhelmed.

Disagree about the SFPD. Don't understand the concept of deterrence. Get out on the street corners and out of their cars. Don't even have to arrest anyone. Check out NYPD on any street corner in NYC with pedestrians for a contrast. Suhr, Gascon and Scott have all been ineffectual chiefs and the POA is one of the most divisive organizations in the City.
