was following the buildup in a chat room filled with Michigan folks...absolutely nuts.  A few of them noted how few Stanford fans had been tweeting Garnett, tc, and felt, basically, that we had not shown him enough attention.  I came out feeling the opposite:  expectations in Ann Arbor were soooo high for this guy that if he did not seem a world beater/all american on day one, the pressure would have been tremendous.  Nowhere to go but down, really.  If someone doesn't already have Michigan ties, why WOULD you go there as a high ranking recruit? 

Welcome to Stanford, Josh!  Hit the books, ride your bike, get ready for medical school, and we'll all look for you on Saturday's in the Fall!  I'm sure you'll be great...and sane
