Anyone know how things are looking for public attendance at the spring scrimmage?
If attendance is encouraged I’d like to go, but things are so day-to-day right now, who knows what things will be like in the bay area by apr 11.
I renewed my season tickets on the first day but figure we will just see what happens. I could see the empty stadium/tv-only scenario, I could see the 1/3 full rule, I could see a “come if you can” approach with no restrictions, and I’m really hoping for the virus being over/under control (as much as it can without a vaccine) scenario, but it feels impossible to guess at this time.
Haven't heard anything specific about the spring scrimmage, but I would imagine it will be a lot like last year where contact will be limited to avoid injury. I know some people showed up last year expecting a full game style scrimmage and were disappointed when it wasn't. So between that and Covid-19 I expect attendance to be pretty sparse.
