I know some people showed up last year expecting a full game style scrimmage and were disappointed when it wasn't. So between that and Covid-19 I expect attendance to be pretty sparse.
Wish I could find a quote but yes, the spring scrimmage will be similar to last year's. On the whole the team is healthier and most will participate in drills, but many will be held out of full contact. Compare that to last year's team where most who were out for spring were out for spring, period. Ironically, missing a bowl game was actually good for the team in terms of recovery/getting needed surgery earlier.
There are only 5 healthy scholarship OL and a walk-on. The sad part is this is actually better than last spring's 4 healthy scholarship OL and a walk-on. The good news is the scholarship OL are 4 rising sophs/RS frosh (Rouse, Miller, Hornibrook, Nugent) and Dalman...getting all these younger guys a ton more reps will be very beneficial. We know Little, Sarell, and (very likely) Bragg will all start, so only one from this group will likely be starting. My money is on Miller at the other OG spot. I can't stress enough just how garbage of a situation Bloomgren left this OL room in. It's practically a ground-up rebuild for Carberry.
