Overall, I'm fed up with Oregon, their fans, Phil Knight money, transfers - anything to win in football, MBB, and WBB. I wish Stanford would make it a point to knock Oregon of its perch and an also ran.(03-08-2020, 06:27 PM)winflop Wrote: They're just better. Third time this season we just can't hang. Would have loved to see them face each other with both teams 100% healthy
I hope they hang these results in the locker room and use it as motivation to improve, so that these scorelines will be flipped one day soon.
They lose Ionescu, Hebard and Sabally after this season. They have a very deep incoming class coming in with five Top-35 recruits, led by #10 ranked Sydney Parrish. Will they be South Carolina and gel quickly and pick up where Ionescu and co. left off or will they be more like us and take a while to get going?
We lose Fingall and Brewer for sure and Wilson and Carrington's futures are unknown at this time. Presumably, only one of them will come back. We get Brink, the #3 recruit, van Gytenbeek and Nnopu. Hopefully Brink will be collegiate-ready and contribute majorly like Jones did this year. We need more players who can create their own shot and not have Kiana do it all the times. Tara really needs to adjust our offense, IMO. Too many teams know our plays and a lot of times, that results in needing someone who can create something out of nothing when the shot clock winds down. Plus, cutting down on silly unforced turnovers will be nice too.

Doesn’t look like it to me. Looks more like Geno is coaching them this evening...
That's the risk. If that's what Graves wants to do, let him do it, but they risk injury to their key players when the game has already been decided. I am not as annoyed with that as other people. I'm not advocating leaving our starters in when we're up big, but if we send in our bench players and they expand the lead, there shouldn't be anything wrong with that.
