Really don't like this dissing of Chris Owusu. He was one of the most exciting players we've had in a long time.
He obviously had the quicks and moves to get away from defenders as we've seen countless times - especially on the end arounds. The hits you refer to have NOTHING to do with moves and avoiding tackles. They were sudden impacts just after the ball arrived as he was running to catch the ball. And they aimed at his head.
Chris had injuries that did affect him last season and this season - we don't know the details but he wasn't able to move as well. I hope those lingering injuries have healed enough that he can really show his stuff.
