Maybe I can grab him as a late round pick......Man I hope he gets the chance to show what he can do.
Love’s ankle injury, iirc, occurred about 2/3rd into his ‘17 season. Yet he kept playing. He was plenty durable prior - and a terrific inside runner. He should have been sat to let it heal. I think the medical staff let him down. I don’t think he will be a 20 touch a game guy. But he certainly can be effective as part of a RB tandem. Look at what the Niners do with their backs. Love could thrive in a similar system.

Now he’s in camp and apparently turning heads. The coaching staff has made many glowing remarks about him. He’s also taking reps with the first team when Adrian Peterson rests.
It would be great to see Bryce stay healthy and show flashes of the electrifying speed, talent and heart that we witnessed at Stanford. He’s also such a positive, humble, uplifting guy - the kind of person you really want to root for. Let’s also not forget that he (a) returned for his final year, (b) endured pain for the team to insane degrees, and © lost draft placement and probably a few million dollars because he was trying to score to beat Cal.
If the NFL pulls off its 2020 season, from my perspective, this will be one of the most interesting stories and players to watch.

What made Rose Bowlers Stepfan Taylor and Tyler Gaffney special wasn't so much what they did in individual games but their durability. Something that eluded Love. Sad, yes, but the young man has a rich future with or without football. We can only imagine what he might have done those seasons that were cut short. He's not built for this game.
