Maybe it's just my Stanford elitism showing, but I would think that education would be pretty high on my list of essential activities, and pretty damned more important than a bunch of college kids moving a ball 100 yards.

Limited real time testing resources are reserved for athletes rather than first responders, teachers, etc.
The access to real time testing is a game changer for the Pac-12 though. That approach should really reduce the rate of spread. It sure would be nice to have those resources for those saving lives and educating children, but I realize in the USA athletics at every level is just more important.
Given the Pac-12 is unlikely to get a CFP participant, the other bowl games are not that critical. It might be best for the Pac-12 to just keep playing right into January and February. Doubt that would happen, but would rather see the Pac-12 play 11 games than play 6 or 7 just to then watch 4 other conferences play in the CFP.
I trust we are looking at a 5+1 or 5+2 type structure or 7 or 8 weeks.
I would definitely be up for putting the Stanford v Cal game in a neutral venue so that we could get Big Games at Stanford in even years starting with 2022.
