I expected the admit rate to inch up. According to Harvard's reported numbers we are now the second most selective college in the country. https://college.harvard.edu/admissions/a...statistics
I imagine the lack of security that the country felt may have resulted in some parents really pressuring their kids to choose Harvard over Stanford in a cross-admit scenario. I'd love to see how many people chose to stay closer to home, as well.
I also imagine that Harvard retained a higher percentage of their overseas applicants relative to Stanford.
