Echoing above - I will always be a fan of Harbaugh. He saved Stanford football.

I think the only way he saves his job is to beat Ohio State, which at this point is just short of a pipe dream.

He's burned his way through another program, and his next ride could be his last.

Don't think getting fired from Michigan is a real risk; however, not re-upping after existing contract is.  Thus, it might be a face-saving move, of sorts, for Harbs to just take an NFL job.  On that subject, Greg Papa ('Niners play-by-play and longtime industry announcer) questions what NFL team would even hire Harbs to be their head guy.  [I think the Jets would . . . no feeling beyond that].
