The game was close and entertaining, so that's good for the ratings I guess.
ASU had multiple opportunities to end the game on defense. Jumping offsides with a QB clap on 4th down, not once but twice late in the 4th quarter was just hard to believe. When not jumping offsides, the ASU D allowing easy long throws to be completed when up by a bunch was also hard to watch.
USC did enough to win, but not enough to start joining the conversation for that 4th CFP ticket. A win should be a win, but in this CFP pageant the wins need to pass the eye test. This one seemed to miss that subjective standard.
