I'm not saying they're better, just that Dawkins comes from that kind of background and I wonder how he'll respond to the attentions of other basketball-centric programs.

I think it would be great if the Athletic Department announced that anyone who can prove she/he bought tickets to the NIT games at Stanford this season would be given a free [or even discounted] lower reserved seat for a game or two next season as a reciprocal show of support by the University for the real fans who supported the team during the NIT. 

I also think it would be great if I won the lottery.  I don't think either is going to happen...
