Remember how we all laughed when the Italian stay at home order in Northern Italy leaked 6 hours before it went into effect and there was a rush to leave? Stupid Citizens were spreading the disease South and the Stupid Government didn't realize it was important to not give them a head start. We could have an interesting class at Stanford in the future called "Western Civilizations Behaving Stupidly". I sure hope Dr. Cody realized that her sports ban would produce this flight out of SCC and is perfectly fine with it doing so, because it was totally predictable. It may be she felt it was the best choice even with the exodus downside, but if she really believes playing sports is increasing the case load, she just exported it somewhere else. I wonder if she reached out to the University presidents before she issued this policy and asked them to "do the right thing"?
