It's interesting to note that our top two scorers from last year (Williams, 15.6 pts and Lexie, 13.6 pts) are now the 5th and 6th leading scorers on the team.  Williams has struggled with her shot the last two games, however I take this more as a sign that our offense has become more diversified.  Last year we needed Williams and Lexie to be shooting well for us to be competitive against top teams.  We didn't really have a plan B.  This year we have a healthy Jones who can slash to the basket.  A much improved Belibi who has better interior post moves and footwork.  And a freshman in Brink who has shown the ability to drive as well as score around the rim.  We haven't had this kind of reliable inside scoring since Chiney's senior year.  We maybe had some of it when Alanna Smith was a senior but as often as she posted up she also drifted to the perimeter to shoot threes.
