A tragedy, no question. But do you have evidence that mental health issues exist at a higher rate for ex-college football players then for the general population? We tend to look the other way when it comes to mental health problems. That needs to change. They are far more prevelant than we care to admit.
Not exactly the same (not post graduation, not all kinds of mental problems), but related. 1.5 years ago, I referenced a NCAA study about suicides by athletes vs college students vs the age group.
