or he's just ready to move on with his life after five years in the program (he's already got his degree) and will take a shot at being drafted, if that doesn't happen (and it would be pretty surprising if he did get drafted) he goes on with his life, I don't see much personal downside for him to say he's entering the draft...except maybe some eye rolls...
