Is that really a step up though? I would think the only thing Duke has that Stanford doesn't is a powerhouse Men's bball team and in a more respected conference [and a reasonable cost of living anywhere near where you work]. Besides those two three things, Stanford has them beat.

Fixed it for you. If Muir ever desires to leave Stanford before retiring, this would be his obvious move, and with his daughter starting school there, I'd put the odds at better than 50/50.
