Is the basketball program "in a better place" than it was when Haase took over? I'd argue that it is, despite the shakiness of the past two games.
Is the football program currently in a better place than it was when Shaw took over following the 2010 season?
Look, Shaw gets criticized because he doesn't do the obvious things - things that are in his control - to improve the program. Those things have been chronicled ad-naseum here but most of them are valid IMHO. In the case of Haase, I'm sure there are some things he could do to improve the program, but frankly, I'm not sure what they are. Maybe you or others can point out some steps he can take. I will say that the fundamentals of the team are lacking a bit but I don't go to practices so I don't know if the lacking is a function of his coaching or something else. It's funny how much more fundamentally solid the whole team looks when it has a high-level point guard like Tyrell Terry.
