My early entrant for the year's most irrelevant headline/article: 

  Jon Wilner's "Stanford athletic director search: My list of potential candidates to replace Bob Bowlsby"

I'm not saying that some of the folks on the list aren't worth considering [although some really aren't].  I'm just having a hard time coming up with a more irrelevant notion than what Jon Wilner thinks about this...

By the way, is there any truth to the rumor that Bowlsby's last act as AD will be to rescind the seat license policy for Maples' lower bowl so we can all get our seats back...?  ::)
