I was interested in that Holgersen story myself at the time.  The worst I read about him was that he liked to work odd hours, and that he partied.  I don't think either affected his job performance.  He was single (never married) if I recall.  I never read anything about him breaking the law or doing anything seriously embarassing.  But you might have inside scoop. 

I am no expert, but I think Holgersen will end up being a very good hire.  Having seen a bit of Oliver Luck through interviews, etc, he'd be my #1 pick.  Otherwise an established guy like Bowlsby was.
